Default Tried a 245/35/18x9 stock Camaro subframe ?

Has anyone tried this combo before?

James OLC has ran or is running a 255/35/18 on a 8.5" rim with no rubbing issues.

I think I can get away with a 245/35/18x9 and if I were to rub only at full lock, I can deal with it until I get an aftermarket subframe.

I know someone has tried this before !

Common where are you!

Actually I'm running 275/35-18's on the front with a 9" rim. You should have no issues with a 245/35

I saw that you ran a 255/35/18x8.5 on an old search probably when you had the stock subframe.

Looks like you have an aftermarket subframe now...

Wish I can stuff a 275 in the front

EDIT: Just saw the OLC page and you're running a stock subframe with 275's up front?! What allows for this to work?

The Speedtech suspension.
James runs the ATS spindle as well as having the correct back space and the adjustable steering stops on the speedtech lower control arms and the High Clearance upper control arms

If you just trying to run a 245 wide tire, why a 9" rim? A 245 wide tire belongs on an 8. As you can see, a 9 inch rim wants a wider tire to fit well. If a 245 tire up front is what you want to run, use an 8 with our tried and true backspace and a 245/40/18 and call it a day. I thin you could benefit from our guidance... Give us a call.

James,

What back spacing are you running.

Thank you.

Really good to know! Didn't know a 275 was possible on a stock subframe.

I will give you a call. I'm getting a headache from trying to find the perfect combo for my car and I need wheels soon....have to return the wheels that came with the car I recently purchased....15" anyways. I want to run a 305/30/19 in the rear. This is set in stone. I know you're going to say why not run a 325/30/19 but aesthetics is important to me and personally, I think a 325 looks too wide in the rear of a Camaro since they aren't as wide compared to most cars running a 325's like a Z06 or GT2 etc etc. I'm trying to find the perfect front to match the fronts with with the stock subframe.
