Default LS Engines Rock.........

After driving on the Power Tour with Scott, Jody and Charley for a couple of years......I learned that anything other than a LS engine is obsolete 1950's technoligy........Last year I finished (so I thought) the 37 the day before we left for the Power Tour......the engine ran flawlessly.......but....I had some rough edges that needed to be fine tuned....After tweaking the car over the winter, she's now dialed in pretty good..........Drives and rides like a new car....these LS engines are the only way to go!!
Here are some recent pic's.........

Default Car looks great Ken

Does this mean your driving it again this year?

Sure turned out swell and with all the bugs worked out, it deserves another trip.
Lord knows you'll be more relaxed.

See ya in Nashville.

Killer car Ken... You did a heck of a nice job on it.

RE: LS motors

I bought an LS6 through Charley - probably 6 or more years about now... and frankly I was never really a fan -- UNTIL... I put that LS2 in the Art Morrison '55 I built for a buddy and I have to tell you - firing that thing off and driving it was just THE BEST... no leaks - ran flawless - no tuning (was bone stock with a speartech ECU and harness). What a pleasure that motor was.

So now I'll put the LS6 in MY '37 Minotti project.

The gauge module is out of the 2006 GTO that the engine came from.......That was an experience getting everything to function, .....it's fully functional as a stock GTO thru the DIC switch.........Pretty Cool...
