Default 2nd gen owners with mini tubs...

I was wondering what people have been doing with the rear seats and rear side panels after mini tubbing thier 2nd gen camaro's or firebird's. I have done a few searches and found some 1st gen info but nothing really for 2nd gen's. Any info or pictures would be appreciated.

side panels will stretch, but looks better if they are widend. You will have to cover them or retexture and paint them though. You can look at the 79 Firebird we did on our facebook page which we did not modify,

I do plan on covering them. So to widen them would you just cut and add fiberglass, or would you need another set and use some type of abs glue to glue two panels together wider? What about the seats do they need to be modified as well?

Since you are covering them, I would probably get a piece of abs sheet and glue in a widening strip with a reinforcement backup. Sand smooth and cover. On the seat, you do have to narrow the back, I do not think we had to modify the bottom cushion.
