Default HPI Customs Releases Our Motorswap Crossmember Line!

HPI Customs is proud to release our new stock-chassis motor swap transmission crossmembers! We will continue to release other versions of these crossmembers as we develop them.

All the crossmembers come with our trick exhaust hangers in your choice of tubing diameter size, and are slotted for motor mount variances. Unlike our chevelle k-brace kit, these are specific to certain transmissions as they are based on the stock crossmember mounts.

All crossmembers are available with or without matching motor mounts.

Currently, we have the following available:

67-69 Camaro/Firebird - LS or small block, t56, 700R4, 4L60/65

70-81 Camaro/Firebird - LS or small block T56 in development!

78-88 G-Body - LS with TH350/400 or 700R4

67-70 Mustang - small block ford with T5

68-72 Chevelle (without k brace) - LS or small block with 700R4, 4L60, T56 Coming Soon!

verry cool. I like the integration of the exhaust hangers into the piece and the fact that the exhaust can tuck up into it a bit. will this work in the stock bolt hole locations of the original or do you have to make new holes and move it?

I will get Dawn to post a price list tomorrow. For any of you that have called us before, you will already know she is in charge! They all bolt to stock existing holes. That chevelle stock frame 4l60 is almost done, and the 4l80 will follow!
Thanks for the interest!

Ok so retail pricing will be as follows: (all crossmembers include a pair of our trick stainless exhaust hangers)

Small crossmembers (Mustang) 249.99
Medium crossmembers (Camaros) 289.99
Large crossmembers (Chevelle/G-Body) 319.99

ADD Energy trans mount: 25.00

Additional HPI Exhaust hangers, per pair with chassis tab and stainless hanger/grommet: 29.99 (your choice of diameter)

Now for the fun part: We need product testers! For each style of crossmember we do, we will be offering up a crossmember to someone willing to help us test fit on cars other than what is in our shop at 50% OFF! All we will ask is that we get some feedback/install picture, and that if we have to send you a revised version with some minor changes that you will be understanding in some lead time!

After testing, all crossmembers will be powdercoated black unless otherwise requested!

Thanks guys and gals!
