Default 1963 impala

12 years after being imprisoned in storage building # 12 I am headed in a new direction with an old project. Was once headed toward the NMCA. Now I'm headed in the pro touring direction. We'll see what happens.

Morrison GT IFS, 3 link rear based on stock set up. Nine inch was modified for drag racing but I am going with a watts link now. Already has coil overs and adjustability built in (it was so slick last century ) . IE two piece drive shaft. I trying to con Blake from Speedtech into making some bars for the rear, but I am going to get the front where I want it first. 14 inch wilwoods on the front. Back will most likely match the front. Undecided on 18's, 19's or staggered 18's and 19's. Minitub the rear, and a custom fuel tank. Fuel injected 409 of some sort for power, and an RS 600 from Keisler. Keeping most of the cage and the rest of the interior is a mystery. Just want to get it rolling. Here are a couple of rear susupension shots.

Sounds cool!!!! I am calling Blake tomorrow about sway bars for my '61. I would personally go 19 up front and 20 in the rear, I have 18 and 20 stagger and find the 18's too small for the larger wheel well on the fulsize cars. Just a personal opinion though I thinkit will look killer regardless of wheel size. Keep it up and I will be following this build. Keep the updates and specs comin!!!!!
