Alternative to T56 magnum
Hey guys,
just wondering what the alternatives are to the t56 magnum from other suppliers?
or is the T56 the only way to go for a high HP car?

Tranzilla, or the Son of Tranzilla
Or a G-Force.

For the price a T56 Magnum is hard to beat and can handle 700rwhp+ in a heavy car if not more. That is what they are rated at. Meaning on slicks launching hard repeatedly without failure.
Once you start putting in billet gears and shafts the price will triple or more vs. running a stock one. You could have 2 spares for the price of 1 Tranzilla or GForce setup.

Not sure what new price is. Not quoted on RS Gear's website.

Dont think I need to go that mad. I will probably be looking at 800hp top so looks like T56 will be fine,
Any recommendations on clutches, bellhousings, MCs etc?

Talk to the guys at D & D. They have supplied pretty much every manual trans for the Stielow built cars and they work great.
