I think this guy worked at Earl Schribe in the past, because basically they paint everything. http://www.earlscheibautopainting.com/ Painting a car right doesn't take that long, but the prep takes awhile to do it right.

People do this with motorcycles too. I'm not doing it any time soon though, lol.

I would do that if I wanted a flat black paint job that would last forever or a shop car or truck

I'm not sure if everyone is catching the fact it's not paint he's using... it's thinned down Plasti-Dip rubberized coating.

It's pretty ingenious... in a scary sort of way.

I holds up really well if you apply it correctly. Then, when you want to make a change just strip if off and you're either ready to go with a different color or back to the original paint. That's what the motorcycle guys I've seen do this are doing.
