I am about to pull the lq9 and t56 out of my 87 s10 blazer. I put this blazer together last winter since it was given to me and I though I would drive it more than I do. I have put less than 800 miles on it in a year.
Moto: 04 lq9, 85k miles, truck intake changed to drive by cable, truck acc, svo 30lb injectors, comp 275hr cam, ls6 valve springs (less than 800 miles), texas speed push rods, arp rod bolts, new timing chain, new rear cover from gm because it was as cheap as buying just the seal, has a hummer h3 oil pan which is also new. I am keeping the headers since they are for a s10 swap. I am sure I am leaving something out. All aftermarket parts have less than 3k miles, I had the motor in a k5 for a year and never drove it either so I am getting out of the ls business for a while.
Trans: t56 that came from a 04-05 gto, ls7 clutch kit with less than 800 miles, gm slave less than 800 miles, it has a fbody bell and shifter but I have the gto bell and shifter if someone wants it. I bought the trans in 2006 and it sat in my shop until last year when I put it in the s10. The trans has less than 40k miles on it going by what I was told when I bought it.
I have a 99-02 harness that is in the blazer that I converted myself that is setup for dual fans and a/c that will be included, and the pcm is unlocked as I tuned it myself.
I am waiting to pull the set up to take videos and to see if someone want to come take a ride before I pull it. It is a good setup and will put a smile on your face
