Tire Size help

i have a 67 chevelle going with 285 40 18 for the rears.the front should i go with 245 40 18 or 245 45 18 any opinions would greatly be helpful.

It depends on your ride height and backspacing, but either front tire could be made to work. Your rear tires are about 27" tall whereas the 245/40R18 is about 25.7" and the 245/45R18 is about 26.7". I'd probably run the smaller of the two for a litle rake, since that's what looks good to my eye on a '67 Chevelle...either that or run 285/40R18's all around, but I didn't see that as an option.
