Default 2009 785 HP Shelby GT500 $17K

Just started looking for a GT500 convertible and came across this one...

Seems real low, but I don't know what prices ones modded GT500's bring.

Skip, I know you've probably done your homework on these cars, but if you can, look for an '11-'12 convertible. I've owned a few 05-12 Mustangs and driven several more, and the '10-12 cars are way nicer inside and drive a little better. I thought about and test drove a '10 convertible, but they essentially '09s with new sheetmetal. The '11-'12 convertibles have way better chassis bracing and run better shocks/springs, handle better and suffer less fowl shake. If you just want a brutish cruising car the 2010s are a hell of a good deal though.
