Default Well Im not a new member But here's my junk.

My names Matthew Im from Manitoba Canada. frigid cold place..... in the winter
My project is an 86 S15 Its a Prostreet / Daily driven 8.50 legal truck. It is back halfed with ladder bar's, Mild steel 8 point roll cage, sits on 33x18.5 rear tires the new wheels will be comming soon Ive got a pair of prostars on it which i bought a year before the Billet Specialties Street Lites came out..

The power plant will be a simple modest 400 SBC with AFR 220CC heads Dart block, Lunati crank, Howards rods, Je slugs, My own sheet metal Intake, and a single 88MM Borg Warner turbo. A/W Intercooler and will be controlled by a BS3 and MSD ignition. And will be backed by a TH400.

all rite on to the pictures.

Heres when I first bought the truck 3 years ago. Was 16 at the time and bought it for $400

I back halfed it. and Installed the 8 point cage which made except for the main hoop.

Narrowed the diff my self did the back brace and all the welding ym self, yes some of the welds are ugly but i dont care it has penetration, Using a borrowed Jig, and after I borrowed the jig I made my own.

I sand blasted the front and middle section of the frame then painted it.

and yes the truck is rusty! other floor pans looks the same, cab corners have been replaced

gave the truck a quick coat of paint cause the multi colored panels sucked.

I have made wheelie bars, chute mount, bed sheet metal is almost finished, new body panels need to be hung, I have the turbo headers tacked up i just have to take them to work to tig them up as well at the cross over pipe and down pipe.

there will eb more pics but this winter its going into storage for a while but I will go and work on it still, just pics will be a little slower But i will update regularly!

How it sits with a 33" tire bed is not bolted up in the back but it is in the front

and this is the other money hog....

Thanks for looking leave a good comment if you wish. or constructive criticism, I am no Marty My Sonoma wont look NEARLY as good as his Build but im hoping it will look good. He has been a big influence to the S-truck community with his Build.

Matt

Hey Matt. welcome from a fellow Winnipegger. Your truck looks great.
