anyone hear anything about the 4l80 six speed anymore?

.I think tci was offering a kit to change the 4l80 to a six speed, ..was wondering if anyone here used it..

Don't know anyone personally. But, I heard from forums and other guys who knew someone who ran it that is't not all cracked up to what's it supposed to be. Especially, not at the price of $6k. There are far better trannys out there.

The 6L80 is better in my opinion. Although, I have one, I don't have it installed into my truck yet and it won't be for a couple of years until I get to restoring my truck. There are certain perimeters you have to keep with the 6L80E, such as DBW, 58 tooth reluctor and if I'm not mistaken....E38 computer.
