Default Fuel filter to pump fittings

So I don't post on here much, usually just lurking
anyway I haven't worked on my syclone in quite a while and I am trying to get it back in one piece this year.
I finally got my sumped stock gas tank test fitted today and mocked up where to mount the fuel pump and filters etc. I am using aeromotive filters and an older weldon pump, both are o-ring fittings and I plan on mounting the filters to the pump to save on hose etc. I had bought some fittings from aeromotive years ago and just noticed they have the AN on the one side for a hose and the other side is a straight thread with an o-ring.

I previously had an a1000 pump and just used normal AN unions and put an o-ring on them and that worked.

What I am wondering is does someone make a nice high flowing straight thread o-ring union fitting or will it always be just one side which means I will just make sure I have the bigger straight side on the inlet of everything and put an o-ring on the AN side.

Also I am planning on ordering ptfe hose from anfittingsdirect.com and am just wondering if people here have an experience with them and the quality of the products. Its so much cheaper but there is usually a reason for it, I feel like I found out about the site from here or protouring forum. I have bought from siliconeintake.com before and that stuff seemed to be good stuff.

Thanks for any help I really appreciate it

Default

Just wanted to update incase anyone runs past this down the road

I talked with Mark @ Bentfab the other day and he just uses the standard hose union fittings in between the fuel filters and pump. He prefers to have the filters separate from the pump but as in my case it doesn't always fit like that.

So if you are looking for double o-ring fittings just use a standard an union, the an/o-ring fittings are at least twice the price of a standard union also so you can save a couple bucks
