BAD ASS '56 Nomad/NASCAR framed project
Hey Guy's,
You want to stand tall above the crowd of 69 Camaro's on here?? Lol!!
Here's the build you we're waiting on....
'Picked this totally radical project as part of a trade. The previous owner had cut the front clip off the (fully professionally built/ Real NASCAR frame) frame to put the suspension parts on his other project (I know.....)
The body is VERY solid and all steel. missing side glass (avail new) and rr bumper. Got hood, inner fenders, fenders, rad support, trunk lid (tailgate) mint doors and all moldings (headliner included).
No mechanicals whatsoever.
Up to date paperwork, Plated and in my name.
Needs time which I do no have, sadly, as this is going to be one SERIOUSLY RADICAL risde!!!!
The cage is all chromoly and tig welded professionally. It was all bent to fit the 56 Body and is almost invisible from outside except the ''X'' (which I would remove anyway to gain room for the rear seat as well as modify the main hoop crossbars but the rest is perfect for a little ''Family'' street car lol!)
Here is the interesting part.... Pics!
Car as no front clip as stated earlier but is ready to accept whatever you crave. The cage is also not affected in the way it is built you just start your new tubes off the front downbars and attach to front rails. All ready to receive your C6 set up or??
The rear is a full on NASCAR truck arm set up.
Asking 6000$ and am open to offers, might even look at trades for partial parts (LS, and BB chevy parts, also a T56 and/or 69 Camaro HP parts)
Thanks for looking!!
Lead.
...How 'bout a nice LS motor set up and a set of twins in that thing...Sittin' on 19's all around shifting a nice t-56 and be pushin' C7 Vettes in the left lane on the Highway...Lol!!! Move over with your plastic car!!!

Yep!
I have the rear "arms" and mounting gear just not the coils (i would suppose anyone on here would do as i would on that project anyways...coil overs with reservoirs or Air Ride) but car was rolling, to anwser your question. In these NASCAR set ups, bars and suspensions are cheap and plentifull, but there is much better i think, it is nice to be able to adjust it on the fly from the top with a ratchet extension tough....
The front, well...now has nothing, but was roller and is ready to receive any front set up you wish and could then swallow 305 fronts. maybe the new DETROIT SPEED (DSE) universal crossmember?
If one was interested, the room there is under that car would also allow a Corvette IRS soooooo easily!!!
Just toughts...

Best offer gets this hot project a new house, don't be shy, i don't really have a lot in this as it was part of a trade so you wont insult me lol!!
I'd rather have it go to a good builder than see it sit here and take up space and i end up cutting it to make a couch with the rear end of the car for the shop and sell the frame to a Nascar racer wannabe at the local track....
I basically wanted to flip it so it would pay for one of those 4 posts lifts for my garage.
It really is super solid, original 1/4's (from 1956!!! That should ive you an idea of how solid of a car it was!!) all stainless trim for rear, side and front glass, doors are complete/loaded. Have the tailgate and its moldings also. Front bumper and bumperettes. W/shield is cracked.
I just put it on new caster wheels so its easier to move around (i need space in my 2 car garage and it takes a good chunk of it so its now easy to move out and back in at will.
Clean and clear title in my name.
