Default Baldwin Motion lowers pricing on Phase III cars

They were originally said to sell for over $400k looks like they changed there business model and dropped the price more in line with the Foose camaros.

The Phase III cars were always planned to be competitively priced with the Foose Camaro. It was actually the Super Coupe project that was priced at $400K+ but I think that right now the focus is more on the Phase III cars. They're not as extreme, but still deliver the performance that Motion is known for.

You would think for approx. 200K you would get an injected motor.

That is strange, though on the option list they have EFI mentioned. I guess it comes standard with a carb...dunno. I thought they were going to run a similar setup to the SEMA car.

You would also think for 200k you could build a meaner one of a kind car. But I won't lie...owning one of those would be pretty cool!!

If I was rich...I would probably buy one, why not? It's a cool car. But if all I had was the $200,000 to spend, then I would probably have Detroit Speed or Progidy Customs build me something instead. That way I could get exactly what I wanted and wouldn't be paying the extra $50,000 for the Foose or Baldwin Motion names.

+1.

Foose is name that appeals to "trendy" collectors (same goes for Boyd and Troy and I don't mean trendy in a negative way.)

Motion is there for collectors who either have collected the original Motion cars and want to continue to collect that brand.

It's nice that there's something for everybody I guess, but if I had the money, I'd do things my own way too. The other cars are nice because you don't have to micromanage every bit of the car and you know what you're getting, but at the same time, some people NEED to micromanage the build of their car. So it all balances out in the end.
