Default Z28 and Stielow was in town and I missed it!

So as usual I find out too late but come to find out Stielow was in town at Barber Motorsports Park showing off the new Z28. Now where was my media invite .

http://www.al.com/business/index.ssf...ew_camaro.html

Nevermind any other crazy, laughable "news" you mind run across there about Bama.

BTW, when is there gonna be a PT event scheduled at Barber? That would be sweet. On my bicycle I guess.... ;-(

I can't find my pic of the giant spider.. I was out there a few years back for the Mustang 45th anniversary.

I mean this in the nicest possible way and hope that it is taken in the spirit that it is intended...

The pro-touring community can't afford to have an event at Barber... when you rent the track they provide a cost schedule for maintenance and repairs associated with "offs" and collisions with stationary objects. There is a per foot or per yard charge for grass, there is a replacement/repair cost for armco, etc. Bill's recon laps would upset the entire balance of the event

James, I've actually heard similar from other organizations wanting to have events there. Most end up down the road at Talladega GP course or whatever. The insurance requirements alone I've heard are staggering at Barber. The Porsche/BMW clubs have an event or 2 a year there I think but they have a good number of people that attend from all over the southeast.
