Default Rear Sway Bar Attachment

Ok, hopefully a simple question. I've had to re-layout my torque arm to allow for wider tires and some adjustability. Part of the work is adding a new sway bar. Turns out that a real clean place to mount the arms is near the end of the lower control arm. I know I've seen this done before and just wanted to see if there are any issues that I should be aware of especially from anyone that has done this. I am aware that this affects the actual resistance calculation through the range of travel but it seems like it should be inconsequential.

I've attached a picture of approximately where I would add the mount to the control arm.

Input is appreciated.

Bart

that should be fine but it puts a lot of force in that weld and single fastener....can you create a bracket to weld to the link bracket itself? or axle tube?

Yup....

Its just so clean on the control arm. However adding metal to the control arm bracket taint hard.

Thanks.
