Default C&D archives from 1986: AMG Hammer test

http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...ed-test-review

Didn't look real hard for a vid of one being put through it's paces, but here's one where Chris Harris is driving a Hammer coupe.

I'd really like to get my hands on an 80s Mercedes or BMW big coupe like this and work it over subtly. I'd ditch the drive train from a practicality stand point given the cost in those engines and advancements in modern engines. Then just drive the dang thing. I doubt it would turn the heads that a new Black Series would but that's cool. I'd have less in mine which means more jangle in my pocket

I've always been partial to the 190e Cosworth.
