Default what rack and pinion for Scott Mock sub frame

I have lost my notes and have been thinking about putting my sub frame together to make the car a roller. It's a scott mock sub and I just want to pick up a rebuild rack and pinion at the local parts store. I could not remember if it was late 90s thunderbird? mustang?

I believe it's a mustang.

Call Scott to confirm.

Any 1979-1993 Mustang Fox bodied rack & pinion will work. They come in a 15:1 & 20:1 ratio's. If you get a rebuilt unit from the auto part store ask for a set of 2pc. bushing then use some .750 od x.085 wall 4130 tubing for inserts. The GT mustang's came w/the faster ratio's,thay all a have 3/4x36 spline end.You also want to use the tie rod ends from the same mustang, and a 9/16x18 jam nuts. Some rebuilders send them with jam nuts some don't.
