Sweet looking. I like the wheels. Dodge is saying that's the fastest muscle car of all time. Hope it goes more than 201 then. Something tells me it won't.

Yes,...she sounds pretty mean. Twin intercooled and the grilles in front of the intercoolers come out for track days, if you prefer.
Real forced cold air through driver side halo light. Pretty sweet car. I am thinking it's more than the "announced 707 HP and 650 TQ at the crank.

Tim, the CEO of SRT, is saying it's the fastest muscle car to date.
And also the only muscle car to have that much HP. He is correct on the latter and I am sure that they have tested against other cars, like the GT500 in the quarter mile. Don't quote me, but I think this car runs in the mid 10's in STOCK form. (Again,...don't quote me on that. You know how rumors get started on the interwebs. lol)
We'll know more in a couple of weeks.

I agree. That machine is begging for some meats out back!
That would be one of my first mods, is to run the fattest tire possible and safely.

Sports/super cars go 200+ not muscle cars. Muscle car performance is measured in 1320 feet and how much tire smoke it can produce.

When you say fastest, that means you have outrun the Shelby. If he said quickest through the quarter and lovely smoke shows, then yeah I'd bite. Don't get me wrong, I like it more than the Shelby and the ZL1, but claims are claims. It's got a ton of snot, so it might do it.

In very hot temps and at high elevation, this stock Shelby GT500 did 196mph with Pobst driving. He said it's a 200mph car.

The Challenger seems to be a fair amount heavier than the Shelby...certainly it's a bigger car obviously. We will see.
