Default FS: JRS Bilstein Coilovers and QA1 Coil Springs

Item Location (City/State): Austin, TX

Price: $500 shipped (Bilsteins) and $150 shipped (QA1 springs)

Description: I have a set of 4 Bilstein coilover shocks for sale. These came with my JRS Apex front and rear setups and were used on my Firebird TOW for about 1000 miles. They are single adjustable (rebound) units. They measure 16.5" fully extended and 12.5" fully compressed. They are designed to use standard 2.5" coil springs.

With the coilovers, I'm also including a set of the roller needle bearings to make height adjustments easier, and I've also installed a bumpstop on each one to prevent unit damage if you bottom out one while street driving. (you can see both at the bottom on each unit in the picture).

Next, I have a set of QA1 springs that came installed on the Bilsteins that are available also. These are 10" long springs, two are 550# units and two are 300# units. I only took a picture of two, but I have all 4.

Making room for some "purple magic sauce"???

I know these would be an upgrade from my AFCOs but I just blew the budget on Nerf guns and Disney Infinity stuff for my boys for Christmas...

GLWS!

Purple magic sauce already installed! I held onto these in case I might want a backup set or a second pre-assembled set of springs/shocks, but I'm not going to use them that way. So offering them up in case someone else can use them.

Default Shocks

Bryan,
just wondering what size springs did you go back with
on the front... I just changed my 1970 bird from 550lb springs
to 450's and it sticks a lot better

Bob,

I had Ron spec out all of the spring/shock settings... We ended up with a 500# spring on the front, but remember, this is a JRS setup with a motion ratio that I'm sure is different from most of the other front geometries...

I have my own little collection of 2.5" springs now. All in different colors too.
