Default 69 Firebird Convertible

A friend of mine just picked this car up yesterday, thought it was a pretty cool survivor worth sharing.

It's a local one owner car that appears to have been treated well. After giving it a pretty good scan I was impressed with how unmolested this car is after 46. It was repainted at some point with a lacquer, other than 3 replacement tops it's pretty much original.

Engine is stock and other than coolant flush ports added, a new water pump, and random hoses it's stock.

The subframe is pristine with much nicer welds than the typical Camaro. It only had UCA alignment shims in the rear position and less than an 1/8" each. The floor pans and trunk are amazing.

Not knowing much about Firebirds or convertibles, a couple things I found interesting were the 160 mph speedo and the rear axle tubes were notched for subframe clearance.

Here's a few quick phone pics I took.
