68 Mercury Cyclone GT "The Breeze"

Here goes. I've been lurking for a few months and thought it was time to kick off my build thread. My very first car was a Burgundy 1969 Mercury Cyclone with a small block. That was more than 40 years ago and I regretted selling it the day after it was gone. I've had many cool projects since then but always missed my Cyclone. Last year a week before Christmas I was doing some web searches and stumbled upon a '68 that was 5 hours away. It also happened to be Black Cherry which is what Mercury called Burgundy in 1968 and it was a big block car. Even though I didn't have the money or the space I made it happen. Now the saga begins. Here it is when I got it home:

Since last December I've had the floor pans replaced, the lower quarters patched, and replaced the rusted out hood. There are still dents and dings that need to be fixed but there are no longer any gaping holes that shouldn't be there.
