Big Block Questions ????

I'm looking for opinions on how to proceed with my big block 502 Its a former IHRA crate motor class winner (not me) so the bottom end is stock but 3 years of drag racing and I've beat it for 2 years after that.so the lower end need to be gone through, the car is autocrossed in local SCCA events,we do Syracuse nat. Carlisle and Ohio muscle car challenge so it's not a trailer queen. My choices are stroke it to a 540 or do a 509 for half the cost, or DE stroke it to try to get more Rpm ??? I'm going to sit down with my motor guy soon, I just want to be some what informed when I do
