Default Washington old guy/newguy

Introduction is I'm a 55 year old that started a project 1966 Fairlane GT. The car was purchased from the guy that bought it from an estate sale. The car came with a truckload of old and new parts as well as books & receipts. I have so far installed Crites subframe connectors as well as going through the Boss 302 handbook and adding any recommended bracing that will keep the early unibody from twisting like a pretzle. I ran Chumpcar for a few years and have plans to stiffen the chassis before going to paint. I will try to upload some pictures once I resize them.

Funny you would post that car! It was a video of it that pushed me into calling Mike Maier to ask how and what was done to it to get it to handle so well. I was hanging Christmas lights up on my roof, took me 2 hrs to finish the conversation with both Mike and John. He talked me through some of the mods to make as well as why I should do it different than the way I had planned. Yes I can buy parts from a guy like that.

Speaking of crossing paths...did we talk at Griots awhile back? Coffee, donuts...you were working with Jason on something?
