Default Old Member- and I'm Back!

It's been quite awhile since I've been on this forum. As a matter of fact I could not login. Mods-maybe you can help me out (I was previously "swchopper" or may have changed it to "NVRENUF")

Glad to be back. Years ago I spent time on here with my '64 Chevelle dubbed Sikness.

After that I found my perfect match and I currently play in the high HP game GT-Rs. On my 3rd version now. Still have it. Still my passion.

I do have a new project and want to introduce you to Project "Torn"!

In collaboration with good friends of mine at Throttleworks (Boise, ID), we have set out to build one bad street truck. With the ultimate goal of competing in the OUSCI in Vegas during SEMA 2016, we will demand many things from Torn. Built on a custom C5 chassis, Torn will have various needs. I love drag racing, 1/2 mile racing, and road racing. Sounds impossible (and maybe it is), but we plan for torn to be better than average at couple of those events, and superior on the road or auto-x track.

We are having great luck with sponsorships, but still looking for many more (brakes, suspension, interior, seats, etc). Still finalizing motor details but at this point looks like a TT LsX.

Here she is:

Love the Chevelle. Do you still own it?
The rendering of that truck is way cool...you can't leave us with one small picture...you need a build thread! Please!
Welcome back to LatG!

My Chevelle is old school... It has a belt driven power steering pump.

Thx! No sold the Chevelle years ago. I just saw some pics floating online recently of it. Loved the car but it was more looks than performance and I wanted something to really drive and enjoy.

Welcome back. I remember the Chevelle. Looks like you've been having fun with the GTRs. Torn sounds like a great idea. Good luck with the build! Keep us updated on the progress, please.
