Default Goodguys March Autocross Driver Wanted!

Hello!

Any professional drivers feel like taking my car around the autocross at the March Good Guys? Yes I will admit I am not comfortable taking my own car around the track as I have never auto crossed before and don't want to look like a newb.

PM me! Mary? Brett?

John, just go run it. You built the car to drive. The GG autocross is not a track. It's a parking lot. You probably won't get out of 1st gear and I guarantee you someone will be slower than you. Pretty sure anyway.

Run it. You'll be fine. Watch what others are doing and ask Mary, Kyle or Jay for a little advise. Just take it slow and only compete against your own time.

Be sure to get video.

John, just run it. You won't get many runs in though, the GG auto-x is super duper busy in March. I've done the last three, and the first one was my first cone experience.

Take a pro with you, they'll give you great pointers.

There are many a nice cars out there, some too powerful for this course, but its fun and beats mowing the lawn!!

I equate it to parcour indoors, not much room, the course is small, technical, and fun...

I'll be there with or without my blue car....

btw,, pm me bout your restaurant...

I think Im going to pass on this one. I need to get used to driving it still with my dual disc Mcloud and the cam. Car likes to buck at low RPM.

By the summer Ill be out there!

Also look to mike maier locally... Glassman is right through dont expect to get a ton of runs in at GG auto X.

In my opinion the best way to shake out the car is to head to T-HIll. If you're looking to get some trips, HOD A group runs often, also Shelby Club has an instruction day on april 23/24 at T-hill.

Default Good guys

American Autocross series gives you 5 runs
on some fairly large tracks. Also local corvette and
Porsche clubs allow visitors with even more runs
and lots of run off. Good guys is really tight and not
really a place to get familiar with your car
Check the web in your area I am sure there are events
Locally for you

Bob
