Default For Sale: Roush C3 Headed NASCAR Engine w/ tons of extra parts

Item Location (City/State): Tampa, Florida

Price: $11,500 obo

Description:
Hey guys, I have an awesome engine for sale! My truck caught fire and burned to the ground and I need some more money than insurance will give me to replace it so I am selling this one...

I am selling a complete, 100% fresh C3 headed 358ci Roush NASCAR engine. The engine was acquired directly from Ford Racing for use in a magazine project. The engine was completely torn down and freshened, a thicker head gasket reduces compression to approx. 11.5:1, the NASCAR spec camshaft has been swapped for a more street friendly camshaft (original camshaft included with engine), the engine has been converted to an external pump, wet sump setup with a billet Moroso oil pump and a custom Moroso oil pan (Dry sump parts included - pump and pan). The engine has a custom billet front engine drive system from Jones Racing Products with new alternator. It includes a set of used C3 tri-Y headers, new MSD Pro Billet Distributor, wires, and MSD starter, and Jesel shaft mount rockers. The block has been repainted, the heads cleaned, and the intake and valvecovers powder coated to match Holley Hardcore Gray finish. This engine is 100% streetable and would be great for and build that can handle 750hp and lots of RPM! This would be great for street rods, Mustangs, pro-touring, road race, drag race, or just an awesome street car project.

Asking $11,500 obo. I am very motivated to sell! Feel free to call or text with any question — 813-817-2183. Email — [email protected].

Can ship engine and parts anywhere.

Possible trade or partial trade for 2005 or newer four-door pickup trucks.

How thick is the head gasket? Or did you have to stack them? Went through a similar deal on my "detuned" SB2.2
