Default LS9 heads

Item Location (City/State): San Ramon, CA

Price: $1000

Description: used LS9 heads with Titanium intake valves 100% stock
$1000
Add stock rocker arms and stands $150

no valve covers... just what is listed. Must be run on 4.0" or larger bore

Shipping is approx $35/head to the midWest.... East Coast approx $45/head

PM me for more info/pics. LSA/LS9 heads are the only GM heads that are rotocast to get the air bubbles out of the casting. Meaning denser metal.... less porosity. They weigh on average 3lbs more than other GM LS cylinder heads.

Approx 40K on the LSA heads.
LS9 heads unknown true mileage.

I bought an LS9 longblock and selling the heads from it. The shortblock is going into my Chevelle project after it gets up and running on the 5.3 for a while. Found a set of fully ported LS9 heads for it and couldn't pass them up. Shortblock needed a hone and new rings for peace of mind. Bearings were fine.

I mainly use S&S Automotive in San Leandro (Rick Santos NHRA guy) and also Joe's Engine Shop in Concord.

Joe's can build just about anything..... he did my buddies 1780rwhp Nissan GTR motor that has over 10K hard miles on it.... it traps in the low 170's. He also built one of the turbo motors in my other RX-7 (traps 160's).

both shops do great work. I leave cylinder head porting to other places though.

Santos is legendary in these parts. I will be going there for any future needs now that Mike Blackstone retired from Watson Racing in Concord.
