Default Who here runs a cable throttle linkage on a sbc...?

Can't seem to achieve WOT currently with my 383 stroker,Edelbrock Victor Jr. and Holley 4150 DP set-up.Either something is bent or tweaked somewhere because currently I can only get 1/2-3/4 throttle at the butterflies and my pedal travel is only 2-3".

I am considering a Lokar-style cable linkage or equivilent.Anyone running this set-up?Pictures and advice welcome...thanks in advance.

i feel your pain.. with my low style valve covers i could acheive full throttle but the way i had to set up the throttle lever with the tall valve covers im in the same boat as you.. i think i may switch to a cable style as well.. and im definatley staying tuned in..

Thanks for the feedback...I am currently running taller covers to clear my roller rockers.Check out the responses I received @ www.camaros.net in the "Engine" section. Some good pictures and good advice.I will play with my current set-up (lever is currently hitting the valve cover...like yours) but in the end...I think I'll go cable.
