Default Anybody know anything about Mercury Montclairs?

I found a Mercury Montclair local to me. The guy wants $700obo. I haven't gone to look at it yet but i will be this weekend. It needs a new front fender. anybody know where to find one? It wont really see track time i just figured this would be the best place to ask about it.

I was thinking of lowering it with an airbag setup. 18"/20"s or 20"/20"

Default Fender

Check with Desert Valley Auto Parts outside Phoenix - they have a bunch of rust-free Mercs (and tons of other cars) laying around. Their site usually has the inventory, but it seems the parts section is offline right now. They do a nice job of crating and shipping, too.

something that was brought up at pro-touring.com was the resale value of it. Hell thats why i am getting it so cheap in the first place, but if i ever need to sell the car i might as well part it out and scrap the body since their resale value is so low. Not sure what to do now since i dont want to drop a bunch of money on body work and body mods.
