Who is the chrome shop and if you dont mind what did the charge you? I too am sectioning and tucking it in and removing the bolts. I am out here in the Bay Area and I cant even get anyone to touch mine for less than $400 to chrome it.[/QUOTE]
It is Treasure Valley Chrome Plating, 201 SW 2nd. St., Fruitland,
Idaho, (208) 452-2455. They charged me $250 which included two copper baths with a blocking between the two in order to remove any waves from the welding. They had me leave the welds a little high and they finished them.
