Default Sinister Nomad

I was searching around for a Mike Desmond '55 Chevy (I think that is what it was, it isn't on his site anymore) rendering and happened across this:

This 1955 custom Nomad will hopefully be done in time for Goodguys '09. It has a full Art Morrison chassis with a Pat Mussi 555 c.i. big block. The fuel injection unit will breathe through the black chrome hood "V", the air dam will also adjust according to speed and a retractible roof will line up with the original roof grooves.
While I am not sure how I feel about the front end, I am definitely curious about the vehicle. Anybody have details on this?

Never did find the Desmond pic either.

David-

Not sure if Desmond has done any other 55's but I can find out. I'm good friends with him. He did quite a few renderings for my 55 I'm building..or should I say storing..LOL!! Anyways - some of them were way extreme. He is on the cutting edge and no doubt isn't afraid to push the envelope. Here are a few he did for me. I'm not sold 100% on the front end but still isn't out of the question at this point. Thoughts?

The 55 you posted the front end is more extreme than what he did for me IMO - kind of to far out there for me. Looks like a killer car though!

Thanks Brent. How is Nickelback coming along? I can't wait to see it finished. The Desmond picture I am looking for was a painting I believe, it was on one of his madmachines t-shirts.

I know exactly what your talking about seeing I have one of those T-shirts. Not sure if he ever made it a painting though. As far as the car - it is coming along. This week I'm starting the core support. Once that is complete Ill start building the air intake. I'll post some pics as it gets more complete.

The motor compartment will be 100% of what you see in the rendering. It is about 80% build at this time. Still not sure about the split bumper arrangement but the I'm moving forward on everything else. He also gave me some killer ideas for the rear treatment & trunk. Those will done 100% to his renderings as well. Have not posted any of those as of yet though.
