Default Rear gear recommendation ( t56 magnum )

I am switching from leaf to quadralink rear suspension and since I'm going to have the car apart I think I might as well optimize my set up. I currently have a 9" aluminum center section with 3:50 gear. This was behind a BB and TKO 600. I have changed to an LS3 with cnc heads and mild cam ( 610/605 and 224/230 112 lobe separation ) and T56 magnum with 2:66 1st and 0.63 sixth. I was thinking 3:89 rear or is it not worth the extra money to switch from 3:50 to something else? The car is basically a street car that may see some auto cross at some point. Thanks! Oh yeah, tire is 335/35/17 and its a 69 camaro.
