Hey guys us Aussies seem to be taking over. Long time viewer of this forum but have only just registered.
Im building a Pro Touring Style 65 Ford XP Falcon Coupe, 351 Windsor, T56, Comp Engineering 9", 4 link, Air Ride Tech Shockwaves, Tubs, 18x9 and 18x7 Prowheels Jet 5's.
Car is on a rotisserie, but at the moment the car is jigged and braced with a frame table underneath as the entire floor has been removed for New custom Chassis rails, Inner sill replacements and tubs.
The Aussie car seen is years behind the US when it comes to Pro Touring cars so as much advice and help would be really appreciated
Here are some pics of what it once looked like and what it is like now!!!
That was a clean looking original but I'm sure the PT version of your Falcon is going to look sick. How bout some pics of the Ute also. I wish they would build them over here as a new El Camino SS.
Hey Thomo5150, to answer your question, extremely tight, however it can be done, i am planning on running the rrs shock tower notch kit to give clearance for the headers.
CRCRFT78 here are some pics of the ute, its a manual and makes about 445hp. Your right they should be the new el camino ss. Not many peope here like the chevy badges on it but I think it looks heaps better.
First off I don't care for your title and there are other words of introducing yourself.
Looks like some nice cars. This is a great community with great information.
Hi, sorry if i have offended you, however it is actually a quote from an american movie, I new some people wouldnt see the funny side. And yes i do agree this is a great community with lots a great info, i have been watching for a couple of years.
Hey gary I thought we where here to talk about cars, not abuse people and where they come from. XP I would see if you could change or edit your title, so we can discuss our hobby and focus on it.
I don't know which one of your rides I like better but your XP is making me mad about the fall of Pontiac all over again! That was supposed to come here as a follow up to the G8 along with talk for a second of a G8 wagon. Damnit!
I can't believe how clean that car was that you started with. It takes big balls to strip down a car that clean. Way to go and keep the progress pics coming!
