Default Garage built Cars??? & No Deep Pockets !!!- Builds

Just checking to see what the percentage of rides are actually home built ?? Chassis, body work, drivetrain, Painting ?? It seems that the high $$$ rides have upped the caliber on home built rides,,Can us low budgit "HomeBoys" , compete ?? Post to this thread ?? There are car's out there ,that are BADASS!! that are built by HOMEBOYS!!We've seen -um , Now post -um,,, This thread 5yrs OLD ,, Don't let it fall to the wayside !!!

I do everything on my cars including paint and body (still learning though). The only things I dont do are trans re-builds, ring and pinion set-up and upholstery. I do want to eventually learn upholstery though

i build my own. i do everything thats the only way i would have it .writing a check to build a car takes the fun out of it for me

Home built here.
A friend of mine did paint and body (in his garage at home)
I farmed out: engine machine work, upholstery, rear end build and front end alignment.
