you have to loosen the leaf spring bolts, both schackles and front eye bolt, and I mean loose with a gap between the nut and the brackets so that the bushings can rotate on the bolts and bounce the car even drive it around the block to settle the suspension and tighten everithing back up with the car on the ground

Don't want to insult your intelligence but you're not one of the guys that posted over on Camaros.net are you? They had incomplete cars and were worried about ride height with leaf springs.

ok guys this is my first build.im very unfamiliar with minitubbing.the car is sitting about 2 1/2 inches high.when i get the interior back in it and trunk lid on will it lower it that much?the post by vegas69 kind of makes me feel stupid but i dont see how interior will lower the car that much.the interior is very stiff.

I'd put it all together and then torque down the shackles. Then take it out for a drive and see if it begins to settle. Interior, trunk lid, gasonline is going to add more weight than you think. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it until the car is complete.
