Default Norcal Shelby Spring Sprint and Driving School

Seeing if anyone is planning on being at Thunderhill next weekend.

I'm going to be breaking in my new car and running in the beginner group.

If you see me stop by and say hi it's always nice to put a name to a face. I should have Maier's pop up tent for shade so I should be easy to shop.

Nice!

I was gonna try to swing up there and see that pile Weld and hang for a day. Will likely be Sunday if I can make it.

Have been to several of these as a spectator/heckler and it really is a great scene and well run.

Car looks killer.

Awesome I'll try and park near you guys! I've been waiting for this weekend since last September when I got the mustang. Let's hope it all goes as planned

You'll have so much fun you'll go crazy!!

Don't be nervous - just kick back and enjoy it.... You'll be given an instructor - and if you just pay attention to what they're saying and take it all in... you'll have a blast.

Be prepared to change and adjust tire pressures -- they're very important. Park next to us - we have tools and compressors and will be happy to lend a hand. Bring some water -- you need several bottles per day.... Food is available at the track. There's a WalMart right at the exit of highway 162 and I-5 - so if you have a cooler - take the chance to fill it. They sell Ice at the track - but it's triple vs WalMart.

Don't forget your safety gear!! And print and bring with you - the tech sheet - and medical form etc.

Will you be there Friday night?? Where are you staying?? We'll be at the Holiday Inn

You bought the right car to run with this group. You will fit right in. Try not to drive like Greg did his first first day in the beginner group. Lots of complaints from other beginners about some guy on their ass.

Seriously though having the different groups makes it easy to learn and move up to different groups as you get faster. If you have never run Thunderhill it is a great track with plenty of runoff room in case you run out of talent.
