Default Can I use an LS1 4L60E on an LT1?

I have the chance of a cheap LS1 4L60e to replace the one on my LT1 powered 68 Camaro. Does anyone know if it'll plug straight into the PCM? Not worried about moving the crossmember if I need to, just if it's electronically compatible. I'm in the UK so there arent many 4L60E's around

Given you're remote location, I'd say yes if it's cheap. You can always swap most of the internals, as both share most of the electronic controls. The LS1 tranny has an different bellhousing, and the pump drive shafts are different, but swappable.
