Default 18x11 vs. 18x10

Need advice. Is it really worth the extra 400$ for 18x 11 custom wheels?
My budget may not allow for the extra expense but I would wait if I felt it essential to the overall look of the car.

what size tires do you wanna run?? 18x10 can run 285 or 295 ... 18x11 can run 305s...
i woulnt spend the extra 400 per wheel unless you need a 12" for some 335s.

Has any one actually gotten a 335 on an 18x12 into a minitubbed '67 / '68 Camaro or Firebird with a G-bar / AirRide setup? I know there is more clearance on a '69, but I don't know if a '67 or '68 allows enough clearance.

Thanx in advance.

Mike

Is the car mini tubbed? My 67 is not and I have 18x10 (which is really 18x11) with a 285 tire and that's as big as I can go.

If you are going through all the work for the mini tub it just makes since to do the 18X12 so you can get the 335 on there it will look so good. what wheels are you going with? what car is this going on? I might be able to do a better deal on the wheels for you as we dont charge any diffeance between 18X8 - 18X12 its all the same in the three piece world
