Hello, my name is Luis and I'm in the process of building a 1969 Camaro. I bought this car as a basket case in 2006 and quickly got started working away. The previous owner had already install a DSE mini-tub kit with offset springs and was originally setting the car up for a big block and turbo 400. Since I bought the car without engine or trans, I proceeded to install a new LS6 with a used T56. I also installed a DSE speed kit along with the usual goodies that DSE produces. I got as far as having the vehicle fully mocked up and even got to put around 400 miles on it. The Camaro was just about ready for body and paint. Then around 2008 things got a super busy at work and the project was put to the side until I could get back on track; this brings us to today. A friend of mine had a brand new LS7 and T56 that was left over from a project he sold and made me a deal I could not refuse. So, I decided to tear the car down again and install the LS7 package along with a new DSE sub-frame and a Quadralink. I plan to primaraly use the car on the street and weather permiting this will be a comuter as well.
Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I just added some photos but man was that a slow process. What's the most efficient way to post photos or is that just how it is?
Sweet ride Luis. Lots of nice parts too...LS7, DSE goodies, etc. Keep us updated. Remember, we love pics. LOL!! That's just how it is on posting pics because you have to use a hosting site to post them.
