Thumbs up Vote for Art Contest

O.K. guys your job is easy this month, looks like we had several artists that weren't able to join in- I'm already hearing next month will be a better turn out though.

We have two participants to choose from, both 74 Buick Apollos and both nice renderings (see link below). Please let us know which you like better, and base your voting on idea, style, and execution. Like to hear any comments too. I think both of these rides could be easily built and make fine g-machines. Which one do you like best- Red Apollo or Yellow Apollo?

Thanks for your participation!

I voted for the red one. Probably the only reason i did was because i am not a fan of the scopps on the yellow one, or maybe just how they are painted to make them stand out. Are you planning to tuck the bumpers in?

I like the red one for the same reasons, the scoops on the yellow one stand out a little to much for me. I also wouldn't have removed the side vents, without those its not a Buick.

Thanks for the feedback. Truth is I had to do the scoops at the last minute and threw them together. I'd like to build this one myself one day and when the time comes I'll spend a bit more thinking power on the hood. I definately want a ram air deal, just gotta work it out so it looks clean and factory like.

Yes, I'd prolly try to tuck the bumpers just a bit.

Thanks again to everyone for participating in our first vote on an art contest winner!! Tie goes to Spaulding, congrats man, great photochop. I really like the clean look to his design, subtle yet aggressive. Now we just need someone to build this bad doggie!

WOW! Thanks guys. I appreciate the votes, too cool it's a tie. Great job Ben!
Both Apollos, both 74's, both turned GSX, and now a tie! I think the moon and stars were aligned for this Apollo mission. Here's to ya Ben.

Make mine a root beer and we're good to go. Keep an eye out everyone for the first week in March for our Ford Torino drawing contest!
