So where are the weekly hangouts around dallas?

Just moved back to the area, wondering where the weekly hangouts/car gatherings are around dallas?

1 place is Kellers,it's an old hamberger joint on northwest hwy & skillman.Sat. nite

Dallas: Kellers on Fri & Sat night. Sat nights there's a $5 parking 'fee' but the burgers are good & the beer is ice cold.

Rowlett: Sammy Walkers BBQ (Dalrock & HWY66) on Thurs nights from about 6:30 until dark. Smaller crowd.

Also, Sonic ususally has a cruise night once a month (Sat night) in Plano.

Some of us just hang out in the driveway .

Keller's and your local sonic for any sort of hang out, at least since Fender's closed years ago. The hangouts seem weak to me everytime I come home on leave. Nothing like SoCal for cruisin. These days in N Tejas, most "hangout" spots end up turning in to the NOPI nats.

However, there are plenty of good shows with some bitchin rides.

Check under the calendar section. There is some national stuff but it is mostly DFW area. August has a bunch of stuff happening, hard to believe considering how hot it will be. Riscky's in the stock yards is putting on a show 1st or 2nd weekend, Bass Pro is holding one the first part of the month as well. If you are in to beer, wings and little orange shorts, then don't forget Hooter's weekend. The 11th a Hooters in Ft Worth has a cruise 7-midnight and another Hooters in Arlington has one on Sunday the 12th 1-5pm.
