I love Pro Touring style cars.
But lately I have had the urge to own something different.
Variety is the spice of life right?
I have been thinking about making some changes to the Nova to make it more of a straight line performer.
Do any of you guys ever get the itch to own a car that is of a different build style?
Scott

Just make that Nova with killer straight line performance, and then... oh ya it can corner as well.
How about a 1/4 mile slalom car? That would turn some heads as someone starts putting cones down as your about to start the 1/4 mile.
edit:
maybe you should DoNk it! lol
I could see if your talking other stuff rally car, 4x4 etc. but the Nova's best bet has to be PT.

Great thread thats what i went though when i sold my Cutlass and bought a pro street to build, plus i wanted more of a a custom hot rod and something different i have a 56 chevy aswell thats a nice street machine so the 48 will be pretty radical custom.
What ever you do always build what you enjoy or have envisioned never follow trends or try and keep up with the jones! Trust me the jones always seem to have bigger bank accounts or sponsors to help with builds.
I have always been a big believer in keeping the Hobby / Art, FUN!
and build to your own taste and style when you do that will make it indivual like we all are! Good luck
i feel like i have a split personality...i love pro-touring but i also love me some bare bones non flashy rat rods. I think im getting over this too pretty to drive stuff and scared of rock chips crap.... just too much pressure lol, i just want me a flat black 30 model A about 3inches off the ground with around 400hp and some zoomie pipes that i can drive!
