Default trans-am mirrors

is there anywhere to get trans am first gen camaro mirrors, similar to steve's streetfigthter camaro? I've seen the mirrors for shellbys but wasn't sure if those were the same.

I have a 68 camaro that I want to put them on (thought they'd be a little different)

Mine are from a Cobra kit car supplier--can't remember which one. They're not the best quality. I'm sure an alternate supplier offers better quality. From there installation requires a custom stanchion spacer which anyone can make from a chunk of 3"x1" aluminum and a bench grinder. Just keep refining the shape and angle until your are satisfied. The mirrors work extremely well in that the adjustment can be locked. So they don't adjust themselves at 100mph. That's a great feature as long as you are not lending the car to other drivers who require different adjustments.

If you need help building the stanchions, give me a yell. I can advise or whip some up for you.
Good luck
/Steve
