Default DriverzInc: New Truck!

A post for all the truck guys....

Been needing a new shop truck for awhile now. Our Dodge Dakota was nice, but was not cutting it. Bought this full size Blazer from a good friend, and couldn't be happier with it.

Here's a quick run down:

440HP 383cu.in., custom built, balanced and blue printed, full roller motor. Edelbrock aluminum heads and intake manifold, MSD ignition, Long tube headers, Banks Exhuast and air intake, JE Pistons, Comp Cam, 8.5:1 Compression so I can still run Regular gas. Transmission is a fully built 4L60E from Bowler Transmissions, with all the good stuff I'm told. Just added a TCI aluminum pan, Trans Cooler, and a guage into the cab.

4" lift from Pro-Comp. Baer Brakes on all four corners, Late model 6 lug axles and rear end. 4:56 gears, Eaton Limited Slip Posi.

Our Rushforth "Whiplash" 20's fully brushed and cleared with no hardware, and Toyo Open Country A/T 305/60/20's, or better known as 34's.

Interior is super clean. Looks brand new. Upgrades include a billet steering wheel, anodized black, Eclipse head unit, three amps, two of which are PPI, the third Eclipse. Six component speakers up front, two 6x9's in the rear, and a 10" Eclipse Sub in the back. Sounds awesome! Also, black billet bezels around the lock and window controls that match the steering wheel. The entire interior has been Dynamat-ed.

Enjoy the photos:

Great looking truck, Jon. Super Clean!

I used to have a 94 2dr Yukon w/6" lift and 33's, it never had wheels as nice as those Whiplash, though!

They are a perfect choice, they really set it off...

I have 1993 1500 p/u and the air intake silencer was a big restriction. I ran several 1/4 mile tests and it was consistantly worth over a 1/10th on my warmed over zz4 with a flowed and programed TBI. You can go to GM and get a single corrigated tube that will pop in place of the silencer and the short corrigated section. If I remember correctly ask for the intake tube for a 1989 wt 2500 v8. If that doesn't work I have the part number somewhere and you can PM me. It also sounds better.

That sounds great, PM me with that P/N if you could. I'd love to get that.
