so my question is... what is everybodies favorite "tool"... these are absoulutly "what-if's"... and we dont really care about legality... because we all know we should just sit in our houses completly defencless and call 911 and wait for the POLICE to show up and deal with the bad guys

opps...forgot to list mine....

i personally am into guns...usually the kind made for killing lots of things without reloading.

i carry (2) 40 cal "baby" eagles (just like american express...never leave home without them)

the bedroom arsenal consists of:
SLR95 (bulgarian AK-47)
HK91
hungarian AK-47 pistol
couple short 12ga scatterguns
varmit rifle AR15 (group of 5 size of a qtr @800yds)
MAC 10
TEK 9 (biggest P.O.S. ever made)
Desert Eagle 50 cal (wow factor)
featherlite hammerless 357 (shooting it is campared to placin hand under a cinderblock and hitting with 20lb sledge)
Ruger 10/22 tricked out everything with a *cough* FLASH suppresor(neighborhood strays that insist on walkin on my vehicles)
308 bolt action custom "everything" (full-on sniper rifle.. was supposed to be my "hunting rifle"... but i find hunting sucks, gotta get up way too early, usually when its cold and wet out... not my thing)

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest this is with a scope and not open sights....if so I know several sniper teams that want to talk to you right now.

Nice armory, PM your addy so when WWIII hits I know who to hang out with.

Oh yeah, that's only after talking to the obviously less fortunate soul who is only stealing your stuff because of something that society did!

sorry... every"rifle" has a scope except for the ak's and the hk. my "hunting" rifle has a huge scope "donated" by the u.s.m.c. (buddy who just got home) i havent even shot it yet.... as the longest local range is only 800yds.... but we did find another about 1 hour north that has a 1200yd rifle range.... so im loading up some special rounds for an outing in the near future.

as for the "why"... i dont think WWIII is gonna happen... i just collect them cuz i think they are cool. i find it relaxing to go out and blow sh!t up when you have had a bad week.

Being a decent long range rifleman,I would like to see a photo of that target.
An 8" group at the range with that style action and that caliber would be world record shooting.
I shoot an AMAC 5100 .50BMG w/NightForce optics. This is a nice field weapon that is capable of 6"-7" groups at 1,000 yards,if I do my part. Ammo used is either A-Max or Thunderbird Match,,nothing exotic, though. The world record for a production gun at 1,000 yards is a 3"+ group that was shot with a Barrett M99 .50BMG rifle.

The "tool" is a Taurus .357 Magnum revolver loaded with snake shot. It throws a 18"-24" shot pattern at five paces and wont go through walls.

my AR is anything but production. i got it from a local gun guy who does comp shooting..for painting his harley... it actually uses a bushmaster reciever, lothar-walther 19" barrel(unsure of twist), a barska 10-40-50ir scope... dunno what else is "done" to it.

i have no idea what the ammo is... he sold me 1000 rounds of what he said were comp loads.... told me not to waste them

i exagerated a lil on the accuracy.... but it is WAY under a 8" group. the exact specs for the day were: no wind, 11 am facing west, 1310' alt, 91* ambient temp... the actual range is 765yds.... just over 3/8 mile.... the group size is 2-2 1/2" (about 2 qtrs)

btw... my "buddy" who just got out of the USMC is a sniper, the 2 of us shoot about dead even weapon for weapon. i used to be decent, but after his "training" i have become a lot better and more consistant.

i would love a 50bmg... but untill my gun guy builds another bike and needs it painted..... i dont forsee kickin down the cash to own one.

With that kinda velocity though the round will pass through the theif, the wall, the fridge, another wall, your dog, your daughters left thigh and finally come to rest smack in the center of your plasma screen TV.
