Yep -- that's the way I've always made a small fortune with cars -- You start with a large one...

Car cost a million to build - sells for half that....

I have no idea what it cost to build -- I'm just laughing to myself - as that's the way the car hobby always USED to be... build a car - drive it awhile - be lucky to get enough out of it to get a good start on the "new" project.

If Erv gets 500gs for Razor He'd being doing a ok! It wasnt in his posession long enough for him to enjoy it. Maybe Ill head up the street and check out why hes dumping it. Another project? Knowing Erv he probably wants another Porsche.

I always find it sad when a car is sold that soon after being done.. enjoy it a bit first.

Anyways, good luck to them on the sale.. one of the nicest Camaros out there.

I don't get the whole build it and sell it either. I like tweaking, modifying, and upgrading as much as the next guy. However, I like to enjoy the fruits of my labor and money instead of the next guy.
On the flip side, I can see how you may think your next car would be better than the last. In Erv's case, that's going to be a tough nut to crack. Maybe he just wants out while Razor is still fresh on our minds. Besides, that car is just to nice.

I was talking to the Ring Brothers at the Racine Power Tour stop and asked them when the owner was going to take possession of the car since it seems like they have had it at shows for a year. They said that he does not want to take the car. It is possible it turned out too nice and he does not want to drive it.

Some people enjoy the build way more then the actual end product. I have quite a few customers that are like that. They could almost care less about driving the car no matter what it is, They get all into the design and engineering, and are ready to conquer the next idea.

Just like some guys like women for their personality.....

Well if they are only advertising in the Dupont Registry they will wait along time before any serious bids come from there. That magazine is a TOTAL WASTE of money!
