Default New Vendor Sponsor--new Vintage

Hi all,
Many of you may not be familiar with our products and company so please let me briefly share some of the background. New Vintage is based just outside of Detroit, in Ferndale, Michigan. Our company is a family owned design firm that specializes in low volume and custom instruments, design services and specialty products. Our business began back in 2001 with customizing and retrofitting Porsche, Ferrari and kit car instrumentation, then on to hot rods and now to the future…

We found that the retrofit business, while very lucrative, was not always the best option for our customers. We came up with a plan to develop and produce an instrument line that was very flexible in the appearance with a base unit that could be used throughout a product line. This is what led us to where we are now, a wide spread of gauge products with great prices, all being built right here in Detroit.

What style of gauges? We wanted to categorize our gauge kits into eras. We saw plenty of great looking instruments on the market being installed into vehicles, but the styles didn’t match the era or theme of the car. We divided our product lines into decades and themes and named them accordingly (1935 series, 1949, 1967, 1969, etc) this was a completely new approach to styling instruments.

We are essentially a design firm, all of our designers come from the big three, I myself worked in the studios as a designer at Chrysler for about 10 years. This is our edge, or design, once we come up with a concept, we will find a way to make it happen. Where the big guys won’t do a production run less than 1000, we will run 1, 5, 10 1000, whatever it takes, all at very affordable prices. I believe that we are the only company offering full sweep, custom backlit instruments. We can do graphics, colors, and lighting colors. In addition to our instruments, we also have our exclusive indicator panels, dash panels and industrial design department.

As we come up with ideas, I may ask for some input; we want customer feedback. We get plenty of ideas for products from customers, and those ideas get incorporated very quickly.

Enough about the company, here are some of the products that may interest you:

THE 1969 SERIES
Full sweep stepper motor instruments with programmable warnings and outputs. These feature bold period look mint green graphics and white or amber through the dial lighting. The kits are $549, and we can build matching air/fuel, NOS pressure, oil temp, boost, pretty much any other gauge you need to get the functions you need with the look you want.
These are also fully customizable, for about $300.00 additional you can get a full custom set with any custom dials you want.

White or amber through the dial lighting:

THE 1967 SERIES:
We are getting ready to build these in a couple of weeks. The 1967 series captures the feeling of the early musclecar era. The graphics are classy, but period. The programmable speedometers are available in 120 and 140 MPH, and have a one-touch programming function. The kits are perimeter lighted feature air core movements. These sets will start at $299 for a 5 gauge kit with mechanical speedometer, but you can mix and match components to get the look you want.
The 1967 series is also a great base for customizing. We can add indicator lamps, graphics, whatever you need.

THE 2020 SERIES:
Same great features as the 1969 series but with a more traditional aftermarket appearance. Again, a great platform for customizing. Duplicate the OEM look, whatever you want.

OUR EXCLUSIVE INDICATOR PANELS
Great to monitor the additional functions in your car. While these are themed toward street rods, we can change the graphics, or paint them to match your theme. I would say that 50% of these that we sell are custom. The lamps are completely invisible when off, and glow bright and even when lit. They are easily mounted through or behind a panel for a professional look.

We have plenty of other products as well; these are probably the parts that would be of the most interest to all of you. We have plenty of other products coming soon, so stay tuned:
67-69 Camaro direct-fit 3-1 gauges
CAN-BUS –J1939 systems—One plug to your ECU instruments borrowed form the military side
Both of these, we will be posting and asking for input on style and features, so stay tuned.

Thanks for your interest, feel free to check out our website, and ask as many questions as you like

Very nice looking gauges. The 1967 series speedometer/tachometer look very similar to the factory gauges in a 67 Mustang. I like

great looking stuff Mark. I like that you do custom stuff, used to have to be named Foose or similar for that, or have a very large pocketbook...............
