Default T56 clutch booster / pedal travel ????

Hello!

I am working on my clutch pedal and building a custom bracket for T56 clutch booster. Since my clutch pedal travel is greater than actual piston movement in booster cylinder, is it nesessary at piston should go bottom when clutch pedal is pressed to the floor ? I need to adjustable pedal stop so i can limit the pedal movement easily. Should i just press the pedal until clutch is released and limit the pedal to that point Or shuld i limit it when the piston in booster hits the bottom?

Update:

I was told in other forum at i should look full piston travel and limit pedal just before master cylinder piston bottoms.

Default Clutch pedal travel

This is how I limited the travel on my clutch pedal. I also bolted in a plate under the dash for the bolt head to hit against. This tip came to me from Tyler. Works great!!

these are very sensitvie to travel, you do not want more then 15/16 of pedal travel or you will bottomout the master cylinder
